Accessibility Readiness

Effective date: February 27, 2026

Accessibility is part of product quality, not an afterthought. Sukma is building toward a WCAG 2.1 AA-ready baseline across key learner, host, and account workflows so that institutions and individuals can rely on an experience that is usable, understandable, and inclusive.

Current Accessibility Features

• Live captions during active session experiences

• Session transcripts for review, continuity, and follow-up

• Keyboard navigation for chat, audience queries, and core session controls

• Screen-reader labels, live-region announcements, and semantic structure

• Visible focus states across high-use learning and account workflows

How We Validate

• Keyboard-only walkthroughs for critical host and learner tasks

• Screen-reader checks for transcripts, captions, and dynamic updates

• Accessibility issues tracked with remediation ownership

Why It Matters for Institutions

Colleges and learning organizations evaluating Sukma should be able to see that accessibility is built into the product direction, implementation baseline, and validation process. This supports both learner inclusion and institutional risk reduction.
