What this covers
This page explains how roles work in Sukma workspaces. Roles control who can change settings, who can create and run workflows, and who can only participate. Getting roles right prevents both too much access (a security risk) and too little (a frustrating blocker).
Who should use this
Use it when setting up a new workspace, when someone needs more or less access than they have, or when you're designing how a team will use Sukma across multiple levels — leaders, managers, and learners.
How to get started
At a glance: Owner and Admin — full workspace control. Manager — create and run programs, see scoped results. Member — use assigned workflows. Audience — join invited sessions only. Roles are assigned when you invite someone and can be updated later from workspace Settings → Members.
Setup and billing
Roles affect who can request credits and approve billing actions. Only workspace owners and admins can top up credits or approve funding requests. Managers and members cannot modify billing unless elevated to a higher role.
Permissions and trust
Role configuration is a governance decision as much as a setup one. Audit-ready workspaces should review roles regularly to ensure former employees or external participants no longer retain access. The workspace Settings → Members screen shows all current role assignments.
